New Arrivals
Bernard A. Owusu has joined DIAS this September and will be working as a PhD researcher on the MOD3LTHERM Project focusing on local-scale geothermal applications at Krafla.
GRANNUS Network
The GRANNUS network has been recording data for over 1 year. It’s been mostly a success with 3 stations with near 100% data recovery and 2 stations losing a few months of data, one due to a faulty data recorder, the other due to a farming incident. Overall the data quality is high and we are starting to integrate it into new phase velocity maps and using it for local seismicity analysis. Below are some pictures from the last year of fieldwork from May 2023 to June 2024.
